Ukraine reports that an ammo storage strike claimed 50 Russian servicemen

The Ukrainian military said on Wednesday that when Ukrainian forces targeted an ammo dump in the eastern Luhansk area, up to 50 Russian soldiers were killed and up to another 50 were injured.

The general staff of the armed forces did not specify when or how the strike was carried out in a Facebook post.

Additionally, it stated that up to 15 Russians may have been killed and up to another 20 may have been injured in a separate strike in the southern Zaporizhzhia province.

The reports could not be independently verified by Reuters.

An inquiry for comment was not immediately answered by the Russian military.
