Two taken hostage in Kwara neighbourhood
In the early hours of Monday, two people were kidnapped in the Jebba hamlet in the Moro Local Government Area of Kwara State by unidentified gunmen.
The incident in Ilorin was confirmed on Monday by the state police command’s spokesman, SP Okasanmi Ajayi.
He stated that “a case of kidnapping was received early this morning, one victim has already been rescued while efforts are ongoing to rescue the remaining victim and possible arrest of the kidnappers.”
