The Osolo of Isolo in Lagos State, Kabiru Agbabiaka, has passed away. Reports indicate that he died shortly after Eid prayers on Wednesday.
The Chairman of the Isolo Local Council Development Area, Olasoju Adebayo, confirmed the monarch’s death in a statement. According to the statement, the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has instructed that the deceased monarch be buried by 4pm in accordance with Islamic customs.
The statement also mentioned that the burial will take place at the palace located at 3/5 Akinbaye Street, Isolo. The cause of his death was not disclosed. May his soul rest in peace.
