In a recent interview with Clout Radio, Tolani Shobajo, well known as Tolani Baj, a disc jockey and former Big Brother Naija competitor, revealed something unexpected.
She said that the song “Who Told You Bad Man Don’t Dance,” featuring Drake, was inspired by British rapper J Hus’ contentious tweet suggesting that guys shouldn’t dance in clubs.

DJ Tolani Baj claims that she intended for her tweet, which started a contentious discussion, to imply that while males can dance, they should do so “respectfully,” particularly if they are dancing with a partner.

With the phrases “TBaj told y’all” and “You guys still owe me from that tweet,” she playfully sought credit for her contribution to the song.

“I am a DJ, people can dance,” she declared. Anyone can dance. From the tweet [that males shouldn’t dance in clubs], you guys still owe me money.

Years ago, I tweeted that. Is it possible for me to breathe? J Hus’ song “Who Told You Bad Man Don’t Dance” was even influenced by me. TBaj informed you.

“Men can dance and perform legwork with grace. Because you can’t be embarrassing your babe in that way if you have one.
