Brymo, also known as Ọlawale Ọlọfọrọ, has expressed his strong stance against signing with record labels owned by his fellow Afrobeats artists Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy, stating that he would rather “go to hell” than do so.
Despite the immense popularity and success of Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy in the music industry, Brymo emphasized his belief in his own talent and skills during an appearance on the Bae U Barbie show, ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask.’
Brymo confidently asserted that he is the best vocalist and songwriter on the continent, claiming superiority over any other artist. He made it clear that he would not consider signing with Wizkid, Davido, or Burna Boy, even if it meant facing undesirable consequences.
