Tinubu to Nigerians: I Understand Your Pains, New Dawn Near (SEE VIDEO)
President Bola Tinubu has requested the Nigerian populace to exhibit patience with his government, guaranteeing a new era is on the horizon.
On Wednesday, Tinubu recognized the difficulties Nigerians are facing due to fuel subsidy removal and appealed for aid.
He conceded that the delay between removing subsidies and implementing his beneficial plans aggravated the suffering of Nigerians, which could have been prevented.
“My fellow Nigerians, although times may be challenging and undoubtedly difficult for us at the moment, I encourage you to focus on the bigger picture rather than just temporary discomfort. Our beneficial plans are well underway – it’s important to note that they will come into full effect soon. Unfortunately, there was an unnecessary delay between removing subsidies and activating these initiatives,” he stated.
The president provided assurance that the steps his administration has implemented shall resolve the prolonged economic crisis, encouraging Nigerians to trust in their leadership.

I urge you, with sincerity in my heart, to trust that we can fulfill our promises and prioritize your welfare. Despite the current tumultuous state of affairs, through our strategic actions Nigeria will emerge stronger than ever before – poised for a prosperous future ahead.
Our promise is to ensure education is accessible and affordable for all. We will provide loans to higher education students who require financial assistance, so no Nigerian student should have to abandon their pursuit of a university degree due to lack of funds.
“We are dedicated to ensuring the well-being of as many of our citizens as possible. We stand firm in this belief and, rest assured, my fellow countrymen and women – we’re leaving behind dark times for a bright future ahead. I must now return to work towards realizing this vision.”
The President’s upcoming address to Nigerians will be his second amidst the ongoing tension in certain regions of the country.
