Tinubu has arrived at national cemetery for burial of the slain soldiers

President Bola Tinubu made his entrance at the National Cemetery where the burial ceremony for the 17 army personnel who lost their lives in Delta State was taking place, arriving precisely at 4:08 pm.

As the special guest of honor, Tinubu’s presence added a significant touch to the event, highlighting the importance and solemnity of the occasion.

Among the notable figures in attendance were Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Kano State Governor Yusuf Abba Gida, Imo State Governor, Bayelsa State Governor, Deputy Senate President, and Speaker of the House of Representatives, all gathered to pay their respects to the fallen soldiers.

Additionally, Minister of Defence Mohammad Badaru, Chief of Defence Staff Gen. Christopher Musa, Chief of Army Staff Lt. Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja, Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar, and Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral Manuel Ogalla were also present to honor the memory of the deceased army personnel.

The tragic incident that led to the loss of these soldiers, who were on a peace mission in Delta State, serves as a stark reminder of the risks and sacrifices made by those in service to their country.
