Tinubu Demands Accountability, Orders Ministers to Update Nigerians on Government Activities

This announcement was made by Mohammed Idris, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, at a press conference in Abuja on Tuesday.
Idris stated that President Bola Tinubu has instructed all ministers to regularly engage with the media to update the public on their activities and policies. This directive is intended to keep Nigerians informed about government initiatives and operations.
The minister mentioned that different ministers would rotate weekly to speak to Nigerians as a continuation of the current series of ministerial press briefings.
The ministerial press briefings are being held in anticipation of the second anniversary of Tinubu’s administration, emphasizing the government’s dedication to informing citizens about its programs and policies.
