The governor of Borno State, Babagana Zulum, has expressed hope for support in dealing with the state’s issues from the president-elect, Bola Tinubu, and vice president-elect, Kashim Shettima.
Zulum made the comment while expressing his regret for not having President Muhammadu Buhari’s assistance in solving the state’s issues.
Speaking in Maiduguri, Borno State, the governor said he was relieved that the All Progressives Congress, or APC, had won the most recent election.
Zulum claims that Buhari has expressed regret about the lack of support for efforts to address the issues in Borno State.
“In the upcoming four years, I will have a brother and, in fact, a boss by my side who will assist me as well as the government and people of Borno State.
Bola Tinubu, the incoming president, “loves Borno State dearly and shares our suffering,”
