Jude Onyekachi, Anyanwu Prince Uzoma, and Okume Clinton Chukwuemeka are the prisoners.

“That you, Jude Onyekachi, fraudulently impersonated one Wilfred Baston from the United States by using your iPhone 11 through a fake Google chat account with the intent to gain advantage for yourself from unwary foreign nationals and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 22(3)(a) & (b) of the Cybercrime (Prohibition, Prevention, Etc) Act,” the lone-count reads.

To their separate counts, they all entered guilty pleas.

Following their conviction, Justice Dimgba gave them each a one-year prison term.
