Mahmood Yakubu, the chairman of INEC, previously stated on Monday that there are already 176,606 voting places across the nation.
In the country, there are 240 polling places that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has identified as having no registered voters.
Mahmood Yakubu, the INEC chairman, had earlier on Monday revealed at a gathering with political parties in Abuja that the polling places have no registered voters, adding that there are currently 176,606 polling places nationwide.
Before the February 25 and March 11, 2023, general elections, voters assigned to new polling units would get text messages informing them of their new polling places.
Before the general elections, voters can find and confirm their voting places by submitting regular texts or WhatsApp messages to a special phone number that will be posted on INEC social media channels, according to the electoral chief.
