According to well-known music video director TG Omori, rapper Blaqbonez is just berating him on social media to stay relevant in the music business.
He claimed that since they started sparring online, Blaqbonez’s career has taken off.
According to OBASANJO NEWS24, Blaqbonez and TG Omori developed a spat after the rapper decided to direct the music video for his popular song “Back In Uni” on his own rather than pay Omori’s exorbitant price.
TG Omori stated on the most recent episode of the Zero Conditions podcast that as long as Blaqbonez doesn’t cross lines, he is okay with him teasing him on social media.
“Blaqbonez is just trying to use me to prosper,” he claimed. He’s my boy, so I’ll let him take the spotlight. Emeka must stand out.
“The TG Omori banter in ‘Back In Uni’ was Blaqbonez’s most popular video. He added TG, so everyone was attempting to watch the video. You utilise TG Omori’s name if you’re unable to pay him.
“That makes sense. Although we don’t hang out or anything, he is my boyfriend. However, let the young n*gga shine as long as he has not treated me disrespectfully. Since the whole banter situation, his career has improved; I requested 10% from him. We rise by lifting others, so I would forgive them.
TG Omori stated that he continues to be the nation’s top director of music videos.
