Tems speaks out against rigid dress standards for artists, advocating for freedom and personal expression in the music industry.

There should not be a set of rules for how artists dress, according to Tems, the singer.

During a recent interview with Essence Magazine, she emphasized that artists must showcase their distinct styles. She strongly believes that one’s uniqueness is what sets them apart and makes them exceptional.

According to Tems, her clothing selection is a reflection of genuine expression instead of an effort to communicate any specific idea.
