Suspected Kidnappers Apprehended by Police in Nasarawa
The Nasarawa State Police Command made a public announcement regarding the apprehension of three individuals suspected of involvement in kidnapping activities in Mararaba.
The suspects, known as Babangida Abdullahi (29), Mohammed Abubakar (27), and Yakubu Sani (30), all residing in Aso B Mararaba, Karu LGA, were accused of conspiring to abduct Ibrahim Idris, who happens to be an uncle to one of the suspects.
As per the statement released by the Police Public Relations Officer in Nasarawa, DSP Ramhan Nansel, the suspects demanded a ransom of N2 million from Idris under the threat of kidnapping.

Nansel mentioned that Idris complied with the demands and left the specified amount at a designated location to avoid being abducted.
The suspects then collected the money and divided it amongst themselves.
The Police Public Relations Officer further explained that the arrested suspects have admitted to their involvement in the crime, and authorities are actively pursuing another member of the criminal group who managed to evade capture.
