The Super Eagles’ first match in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers will be against Lesotho at home.

The match is scheduled for November 13 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.

A week later, Jose Peseiro’s team will travel to Harare for their next match against Zimbabwe.

In June 2024, the qualification series will resume with Nigeria hosting the Bafana Bafana of South Africa before a challenging away match against neighbours Benin Republic.

The Eagles will then carry on with the lengthy qualifying round with a trip to Rwanda and a home match against Zimbabwe in March 2025.
