Segun Olusemo, popularly known as Sheggz from Big Brother Naija, expressed his belief that sharing financial responsibilities equally with a partner is disrespectful.

During an appearance on the ‘Bahd And Boujee’ podcast, Sheggz emphasized that while a woman can contribute to paying bills in the household, it would be considered disrespectful for her to make equal financial contributions as the man.

Sheggz, who is in a relationship with his colleague Bella, revealed that in his personal situation, his partner contributes approximately 20 percent towards expenses, while he takes care of the remaining 80 percent.

He further explained that he prefers not to have his partner pay his bills or her own bills as he views it as a sign of disrespect.

Sheggz highlighted that he values hardworking women and acknowledges that his money is shared with his partner, while her money remains her own.

In his household, Sheggz mentioned that there is no 50/50 split when it comes to financial responsibilities, rather it is structured as 80/20 in his favor.

He justified this by stating that expecting his partner to cover half of the expenses would be unfair, and he believes that as a man, he is naturally inclined to provide for his family.
