One of the governors in South-South Nigeria is being accused of leaking a woman’s 3XS tape by Zanele Sifuba, the Speaker of the African National Congress (ANC) Free State assembly of South Africa.

After being caught on camera in the 3XS tape, Sifuba topped the list of trends in South Africa.

Malefane Bosanku Msimanga, the provincial secretary of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), is one of many South Africans, organizations, and political parties who have shown sympathy for her and denounced the distribution of her nude photos and 3XS tape.
Regarding the footage, some people have voiced disappointment and disdain.

The disclosure of screenshots from the real video appears to have been the catalyst for the scandal’s explosion.

It was discovered that on Monday, October 31, the nudes began to circulate.

The Speaker’s sex scandal was immediately addressed by the Free State Legislature by requesting an investigation.

“Investigations of this gender-based violence will be set up by the Legislature.
Whoever posted this video should be prosecuted for harassment.
The treatment of older ladies is insulting.

Malefane Bosanku Msimanga, the provincial secretary of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), and Edgar Legoale, the regional chairperson of the African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL), denounced the ‘insensitive’ distribution of pictures showing the Speaker of the Free State legislature in lingerie.

The parties agreed that the individual who distributed the photos should be detained, prosecuted, and given a minimum 15-year prison term.

Sifuba revealed the Nigerian who released the footage on Facebook on Thursday, identifying him as the governor of the Niger Delta.

She called the Nigerian politician her sweetheart and a somebody she could trust.

“This is a photo of the person who stole our footage.
He’s my boyfriend, and I believed in him.
A Nigerian Official,” she said, displaying the governor’s photo next to it.

“I gave him my life’s trust, but he deceived me.
Please spread the word so that everyone may understand the sort of man he is.

After the filthy sex footage was exposed, Sifuba is said to have filed a civil lawsuit.

Initial reports said that a young guy sought to extort R300,000 from Sifuba before releasing the recording when she refused to pay.

In the midst of the invasion of Sifuba’s privacy, the African National Congress (ANC) Caucus in Free State has announced its support for her and voiced trust in her.

According to The South African, Sizwe Zingitwa, the caucus’ spokesman, confirmed that Sifuba had said she had started a civil claim lawsuit.

We wish Comrade Zanele wisdom, bravery, and strength to fulfill her obligations as assigned by her organization, Zingitwa stated.

The public has subsequently been warned against disseminating any information about the leaked sex video, and according to South African legislation, anybody found guilty of willfully disseminating private sexual images or films faces a fine of up to R300,000, up to four years in jail, or both penalties.

Since the sex tape was leaked and a Nigerian was found to be responsible for it, Nigerians have been the target of verbal abuse in South Africa.

The Nigerian Consulate in Johannesburg released a public notice on November 9 titled “Condemnation Of Heedless Circulation Of Sex Video By Unnamed Nigerian” in response to media reports that a Nigerian man had leaked the sex tape. The notice condemned the video and expressed sympathy for the lawmaker, but it did not name the Nigerian.

“The Consulate General of Nigeria, Johannesburg, has been apprised of media reports regarding the alleged involvement of an unnamed Nigerian national in the circulation of sensitive materials in flagrant disregard to the privacy of the Speaker of the Free State Provincial Legislature, Hon. Ntombizanele Sifuba,” read the public notice signed by the Nigerian consulate general.

The Mission categorically denounces and dissociates itself from any law-abiding Nigerians who participated in the flagrant and abhorrent invasion of Hon. Sifuba’s privacy, regardless of whether they are citizens of Nigeria.

We observe that the claimed act is a gross infraction of South Africa’s laws against gender-based violence (GBV) and online harassment, and we join all well-meaning members of the public in expressing sympathy to Hon. Sifuba and her family for the tragic occurrence.

“The Mission wishes to call on the media to refrain from drawing hasty and conclusive conclusions on the nationality of the suspect as this may put the lives and property of law-abiding Nigerians in South Africa at risk. Instead, the Mission asks that this be done while investigations into the true identity of the person who committed this heinous crime are ongoing.

“The Consulate General guarantees host authorities of its complete assistance and cooperation in the identification, tracking, arrest, and punishment of any Nigerian thought to be guilty or complicit in the senseless distribution of the pornographic film.

Additionally, it makes a request to the general public to stop disseminating the insulting film and creating unfavorable stereotypes of foreigners based on their claimed involvement in criminal activity.
