Renowned Nollywood veteran Sola Sobowale has vehemently refuted the rumors circulating about her supposed arrest and subsequent death sentence due to drug trafficking in Saudi Arabia.
During an appearance on the ‘Deep Drive’ podcast with Teju Babyface, the ‘King Of Boys’ luminary reminisced about the time she relocated from Nigeria to the United Kingdom, where numerous false reports emerged, including the outrageous claim that she had met her demise in the Middle East.
In a tongue-in-cheek manner, Sobowale recounted the fabricated tale of her alleged drug trafficking in Saudi Arabia, where she was purportedly apprehended, had her limbs amputated, and ultimately met her demise, all while asserting her stardom in Nigeria.

The 58-year-old actress clarified upon her return to Nigeria that the entire narrative was baseless, emphasizing that she has never set foot in Saudi Arabia.
Sobowale expressed her gratitude towards God for compensating her in the face of the detrimental rumors that had been maliciously spread about her, ultimately debunking the fallacious claims with her unwavering resilience.
