Contrary to rumours, rapper Falz The Bahd Guy and popular singer Simisola Kosoko, aka Simi, never dated, according to Simi.
She claimed that their connection was professional and emphasised that due of their musical chemistry, suspicions that they were dating were propagated by fans.
This was said by the singer while participating in the Official Naija Top 10 interview segment on MTV Base Africa.
She proclaimed, “He [Falz] did a verse on my song, ‘JAMB Question Remix’. And I exclaimed, “Ah! There’s a vibe between myself and this guy. We performed “Soldier,” and everyone commented on the incredible synergy.
“We never noticed that. What we weren’t selling was purchased by others. We agreed that this was a tactic and said, “Okay.” We thus produced the album “Chemistry.” We received the name and concept from others. We never came right out and said, “Oh, we’re dating.”
According to DAILY POST, Simi married her hidden love, singer Adekunle Gold, on January 9 in Lagos. In 2020, the couple gave birth to Adejare, their first child.
