Show NSA Monguno proof of displaced ESN camps and detained Commanders, the IPOB demands
The National Intelligence Agency’s (NIA) Director, Mohammed Babagana Monguno, has come under fire from the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) for allegedly trying to blackmail the group’s members.
IPOB refuted Monguno’s assertion that security personnel moved Eastern Security Network (ESN) camps and detained a few of its commanders.
IPOB’s spokesperson, Emma Powerful, urged Monguno to identify and provide video proof of the ESN camps that he claimed security personnel had dislodged and its Commanders had been detained.
Powerful issued a statement that, in part, reads: “The attention of the international movement and family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the command and leadership of our great prophet and indefatigable liberator, Mazi Nnamdi Okwuchukwu KANU, has been drawn to the shameful, disgraceful, and fallacious statement credited to the notorious terrorist sponsor and Director of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Retired General Mohammed
Since taking office in 2015, this NIA boss has been the primary perpetrator of countless assaults, kidnappings, and banditry in Nigeria.
“Monguno was one of those working with Boko Haram to destroy his state of Borno,” the report stated.
According to the NIA Director, they raided ESN camps and detained certain Commanders.
We want them to list the camps they ejected from and provide video documentation of the Commanders they assert to have detained.
“Mungono and his accomplices should cease their public dance of dishonor, deceit, and falsehoods against IPOB because it will not benefit you and your accomplices in any way; rather, it will lead to the destruction of you and your criminal Agency.
IPB and ESN are too complex for you to grasp, let alone have a chance to enter ESN camps. Instead of the terrorist Fulani herdsmen or Boko Haram that you created and used to forward your dual purpose of chasing financial gain and the islamization of the Southern and Middle Belt areas of Nigeria, we are knowledgeable liberation fighters.
“You must be aware that you are speaking to bright people everywhere, especially Biafrans. Mungono, you and the NIA are unable to find the ESN Operative Camps.
