Several terrorists are killed when troops undertake surprise strike on five Boko Haram hideouts

Numerous Boko Haram militants are said to have been killed by troops of operation Hadin Kai during a surprise attack on five of the insurgents’ hideouts.

Several Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) agents participated in the operation on Saturday, according to Zagazola Makama, a journal devoted to the Lake Chad area.

The report said that while conducting a counter-offensive patrol in Boko Haram hideouts in the villages of Bulakulari, Gwari gwazo, Loskori, Limanti, and Gaza, the forces, under the command of a lieutenant colonel, made touch with the militants.

According to information obtained by the publication, on December 3, 2022, members of the Civilian Joint Task Force and the 112 Battalion of the 24 Task Force Brigade of Operation Hadin Kai went on a fighting patrol to locations believed to be Boko Haram hideouts in the villages of Bulakulari, Gwari gwazo, Loskori, Limanti, and Gaza.

“According to the sources, the forces under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Obiyanyo successfully neutralized terrorist group members who were allegedly utilizing such places to assault their troops and other law-abiding civilians on the Ngwom-Mafa-Maiduguri road.

“In the meantime, troops made sure that every suspected terrorist element had been eliminated from the whole region.

However, a total of 40 bicycles as well as a number of other things, including guns, were recovered from the terrorists who were killed.
