The National Assembly is the main danger to Nigeria’s democracy, according to a former minister of education by the name of Oby Ezekwesili.
In response to the idea of MPs buying 360 Toyota SUVs, Ezekwesili made the comment.
The former minister issued a warning on the social media platform X, predicting that Nigerians will soon expel senators and members of the House of Representatives for their pattern of misbehaviour.

“Please know that you all are the biggest threat to our democracy since not a single one of you @nassnigeria @HouseNGR @NGRSenate noticed the heartlessness of that choice to acquire 360 new Toyota SUVs for yourself at this time of extreme economic misery of the public and country.
