Adolphus Wabara, a former senator from Abia, has disclosed that Atiku Abubakar, the PDP’s presidential nominee, has promised to free Nnamdi Kanu if he is elected the country’s next leader.

Over a year has passed since Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), was apprehended in Kenya, east Africa, and brought to Nigeria.

At the PDP’s Saturday presidential campaign rally in Umuahia, the capital of Abia State, Wabara, the party’s chairman of the board of trustees, said Atiku vowed to release the IPOB leader.

He predicted that Kanu would be freed within the first 100 days of Atiku’s presidency.

“Atiku has pledged to free our son from prison within the first 100 days of his presidency. He has no fear of anyone. He’ll fulfil his pledge, Wabara said.

On February 25, Wabara, a former senator from Abia State’s Ukwa West Local Government Area, asked the public to support the PDP’s presidential candidate.
