Senator Ishaku Abbo is fired by the appeals court

Ishaku Abbo’s election as the senator who represents Adamawa North Senatorial District in the National Assembly has been declared invalid by the Court of Appeal in Abuja.

In February 2023, Abbo was elected on the platform of the governing All Progressives Congress, or APC.

According to Channels TV, the court decided in favour of Amos Yohanna, a candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
