Sen. Godswill Akpabio, the candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Akwa Ibom North West Senatorial District, began his ward tour of the district on Wednesday by urging voters to support the party in the upcoming presidential, senate, and other elections in order to ensure high-quality development.

The local government’s citizens were also given assurances about his commitment to provide better services in exchange for their support and votes in the upcoming national elections.

“There will be a national election next month.” On February 25th, we must use our votes to re-elect Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu as our president, as well as myself as your senator and other national assembly candidates. Our party’s emblem is a broom. “The umbrella has been torn to pieces for so long that I am now in the broom party,” he stated.

Speaking at the ward tour, the National Vice Chairman of the APC Presidential Campaign Council explained that he chose Oruk Anam as the starting point for his ward trip because he loves the people there and wants to express his gratitude for their support since 2006.

Since 2006, when I was running for governor of our beloved state, the people of Oruk Anam have been my political backbone. I won the primaries over 56 other candidates because of your support. Additionally, you supported me in my bid for reelection as governor in 2011 and 2006, respectively.

“As governor, I established a strong base for the future growth of our senatorial district and the state as a whole. My exceptional performance in government as your governor served to lay the groundwork for the election of a successor within us later on because, as they say, “one good turn deserves another.”

“We appreciate you and your campaign team choosing Oruk Anam as the launch place for the senatorial campaign; it demonstrates how important we have been to you over the years,” said Mr. Aniekan Solomon Abraham, alias Ani Solo, who is running for the House of Assembly in the Oruk Anam State seat. “Our project in this local government is you and our presidential candidate.” Your drive transcends party lines. We all agree that Asiwaju Tinubu, Senator Akpabio, and other candidates at all levels will be elected because we need a voice at the national level. The polling results at the end will speak for themselves.
