Season’s lowest performance, Post-match interview with Copenhagen coach after defeating Man Utd
Jacob Neestrup, the manager of FC Copenhagen, asserted that his team’s “weakest” performance of the season helped them defeat Manchester United in the Champions League.
On Wednesday night, the Danish team overcame a two-goal deficit to upset United 4-3.
Speaking before the match, Neestrup claimed his team deserved some good fortune following their 1-0 defeat at Old Trafford two weeks prior.

“It was by far the weakest performance we have had in this group stage so far,” the coach for Copenhagen stated.
It’s possible that we didn’t deserve three or even one point if you took the photo today.
However, if you spread it out across four rounds, Copenhagen comes in second place very, very rightfully. Over the course of four games, we have, in my opinion, been the second-best squad. Over the course of four games, not today.
