In the southern city of Kherson on Saturday, Russian bombardment resulted in at least 10 deaths and 55 injuries.
According to Yuriy Sobolevskyi, the first deputy head of the Kherson Oblast Council, one of the missiles fell adjacent to a supermarket in the center of Kherson. The interior ministry of Ukraine said that 66 automobiles caught fire after the shelling.
In a post on Telegram on Saturday, Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, claimed that Russia is “killing for the purpose of intimidation and pleasure.”
On the president’s Telegram account, there were pictures of the strike, including burning automobiles and what appeared to be dead.

Oleksii Reznikov, the defense minister for Ukraine, claimed in a tweet that the bombardment of Kherson’s central business district “is not just another war crime but also retaliation against its citizens who fought the occupation and demonstrated to the entire world that Kherson is Ukraine.”
Dmytro Kuleba, the foreign minister of Ukraine, pleaded with families in Europe, North America, and elsewhere to “spare a thought for Ukraine, which is currently fighting evil.”
Zelenskyy stated there are no celebrations in Ukraine this Christmas in a video address he gave Saturday night.
“It can’t be that delicious and cozy for dinner around the family table. There might be empty chairs nearby. “And it can’t be so light in our homes and streets,un he added.
But he also made the point that the Ukrainian people’s perseverance and faith make their path clear.
“Attacks, threats, nuclear blackmail, intimidation, and missile strikes were all suffered by us.” “Let’s persevere through this winter because we are aware of our goals,” he said.
According to the regional governor, Pavlo Kyrylenko, two people were killed and five others were injured in the Donetsk area on Saturday.
Lack of weapons
The British Defense Ministry said earlier on Saturday that Russia is running out of ammunition as it invades Ukraine.
Despite the reduction in immediate staffing shortages, the ministry stated in a Saturday intelligence brief that “a scarcity of munitions extremely likely remains the fundamental limiting factor on Russian offensive operations.”
Due to the restricted supply of cruise missiles, “Russia has probably reduced its long-range missile strikes against Ukrainian infrastructure to roughly once a week,” the ministry stated. It’s also unlikely that Russia’s stockpile of artillery ammunition has grown enough to support large-scale offensive operations.
