Ronaldo, Leao, and Bruno Fernandes will take on the Super Eagles in a friendly match in Lisbon

A 26-man team from Portugal has been announced to take on the Super Eagles in a friendly on November 17 in Lisbon.

The group will compete in the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The team’s talisman, captain Cristiano Ronaldo, is joined by notable players Bruno Fernandes, Bernardo Silva, Rafael Leao, and Joao Felix.

Along with the seasoned Pepe, the club also has Ruben Dias and Joao Cancelo from Manchester City.

Portugal and Nigeria will be meeting for the first time at the senior level.

Jose Peseiro, the head coach of the Super Eagles, has not yet revealed his roster for the friendly.

At the World Cup, Portugal will compete in Group H alongside Ghana, Uruguay, and South Korea.

After losing to Ghana in the playoff, Nigeria was unable to participate in the international soccer festival.
