Rivers’ IPOB hideout is raided by police
In the state’s Oyigbo Local Government Area, the Rivers State Police Command claimed to have raided an IPOB hideout.
Okon Effiong, the commissioner of police, revealed it on Friday as he paraded suspected criminals terrorising several areas of the state.
Effiong says that ten IPOB members were arrested, including those who set fire to the Oyigbo police station during the EndSARS protest.
Seven out of the eight kidnappers who kidnapped the CEO of an oil business on the Rumuokoro flyover were apprehended, according to Effiong, who promised that the command would not tolerate any kind of criminal operations in the state. This was accomplished when command personnel invaded the fictitious civilian JTF camps in Ahoada and Omoku.
