Chris Nkwonta, the representative for Ukwa East/Ukwa West Federal Constituency of Abia State in the House of Representatives, has strongly condemned the alleged killing of Miss Ocheze Ogbonna, a crane operator at the Inner Galaxy Steel Company, by a Chinese expatriate.

It has been reported that Ocheze Ogbonna lost her life after the Chinese expatriate, who was working at the Inner Galaxy Steel Company in Umuahala-Obuzor, pushed her down from the crane because she rejected his romantic advances.

Nkwonta expressed deep sadness over the death of his constituent and described the actions of the Chinese expatriate as wicked.

He condemned the barbaric act and brutal killing of Miss Ocheze Ogbonna by the Chinese expatriate, identified as Mr. Power. Nkwonta also highlighted the concerns raised by Nigerians regarding the disregard for human life exhibited by Chinese expatriates operating in Nigeria.

He called on the Inspector General of Police, the Chief of Army Staff, the Abia State Commissioner of Police, the Minister of State for Labour and Productivity, and the Trade Union Congress to ensure that the culprit, who is allegedly being shielded by security agents, is apprehended and brought to justice.
