Relief in Kogi: Suspected Kidnapper, a Menace to Communities, Finally Apprehended by Authorities
Abubakar Ali Damina, a suspected notorious kidnapper, known for terrorizing the people of Igalamela-Odolu Local Government Area, has been apprehended by security forces.
The arrest of Damina, aged 43, took place during a coordinated security operation at Ofodo village, near Igabada in Kogi State.
Upon his arrest, Damina, believed to be originally from Bida in Niger State, was discovered in possession of a single-barreled Dane gun along with various suspicious items including charms, a gun firing cap, and local bullets.

Following questioning, the suspect reportedly admitted to his participation in criminal activities within Kogi State.
Mohammed Aminu, the Departmental Security Officer for Igalamela-Odolu Local Government, acting on behalf of council boss Barr. Cosmos Atabor, confirmed the capture of the notorious kidnapper to Obasanjonews.com.
Aminu further disclosed that Damina is currently being held at the Kogi State Vigilante Service facility in Igalamela-Odolu and will soon be transferred to the appropriate authorities for further legal action.
