President-elect Bola Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima, have received the Certificate of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC.
On Wednesday in Abuja, INEC National Chairman Yakubu Mahmood gave Tinubu and Shettima the certificate of return.
With the most votes cast, Tinubu defeated Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party to win the presidential election on Saturday.
