After coming back from a goal down to win 2-1 against 10-man Crystal Palace on Saturday, Liverpool has taken the top spot in the Premier League.

Jordan Ayew’s dismissal brought Liverpool back into the game, but Palace had taken the lead and were now in control of the game.

Palace scored from the penalty spot in the 57th minute to break the scoreless first half.

After a minute, Liverpool pulled even. Curtis Jones passed the ball to Mohamed Salah, who beat Sam Johnstone with a deflected drive from inside the box.

One minute into extra time, the visitors took the lead 2-1. Harvey Elliott scored a goal on the right side of the goal after Salah set him up on the outskirts of the box.

When the ball entered the net, Luiz Diaz looked to have scored Liverpool’s third goal. It was decided that the goal was offside.
