Adejobi highlighted a specific operation conducted by the Operation Zenda Joint Task Force on March 4, where they apprehended nine suspects, including a Cameroonian, at an arms manufacturing hideout in Benue State.
The recovered exhibits from the operation included eight Beretta Pistols under fabrication, one AK-47 rifle, ten AK47 live ammunition, five Beretta pistol ammunition, four welding gas cylinders, and other fabrication materials.
Adejobi emphasized the importance of landlords and employers of domestic staff in the Federal Capital Territory and other states to visit police stations within their areas to request and fill forms for the proper profiling of intended employees/tenants.
This measure aims to strengthen the capacity of the Nigeria Police Force to identify and deter potential threats within the FCT and beyond.
