Police successfully raided hideout in Lagos, resulting in the arrest of 27 suspects

According to the Lagos State Police Command, 27 criminal suspects were apprehended by members of its Rapid Response Squad (RRS) in the state’s Agege and Oshodi regions.

The Command said that the suspects were taken into custody at approximately 11:00 p.m. on Thursday in a statement that was shared on the RRS official X handle, @rrsLagos767, on Saturday.

In an effort to reduce crime, our agents detained 27 individuals after conducting thorough surveillance of many well-known hiding places in Agege and Oshodi and acting on reliable intelligence.

There are two female and twenty-five male suspects.

“Among other places, Agege Under Bridge, Oke Koto, Akerele, Markaz, Tabon Tabon, and Oshodi were among those where they were arrested.”

CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi, the Commander of the RRS, stated that the squad is fighting the criminals where they are hiding.

According to his statement, the accused would face legal charges in compliance with the orders of CP Adegoke Fayoade, the Commissioner of Police in Lagos.
