Police in Delta apprehend two alleged armed robbers and seize their weapons

Two alleged armed robbers were apprehended in their hideouts in the neighborhood by Oghara Police Division in Oghara, Ethiopia-West Local Government Area of Delta State.

The police also found three (3) live cartridges, one (1) battle axe, two (2) cut-to-size double barrel rifles, one (1) pump action pistol, and three (1) other weapons on the accused.

According to Obasanjonews24, the accused, Edafe Ajari (29), and Wallis Louis (24), are from the Otefe-Oghara Community.

A team of police officers from the State Investigation Bureau, SIB and the Oghara Police Division detained them during an operation.

In a statement that was dated and sent to newsmen, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, verified the story.

He said that “investigation is ongoing.”
