Police have taken Blessing Eno into custody after learning that she reportedly beheaded her 11-month-old child.

It was learned that the event took place on Tuesday at Ugep in Cross River State’s Yakurr Local Government Area.

It was unable to determine the incident’s circumstances right away.

State Police Command Public Relations Officer SP Irene Ugbo confirmed the event and said the lady had been taken into custody.

“An investigation is being conducted to find out why she did what she did.
But from what we’ve heard, she’s psychologically unstable,” Ugbo added.

Another version claimed that the mother claimed a ghost had promised her N100,000 if she could murder her kid.

It was said that by putting the woman into prison, the police stopped a mob from lynching her.
