Azeez Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, is a famous musician who has been detained for questioning in connection with the passing of Mohabd, a former singee.
Through his X account, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, PRO of the Lagos State Police Command, confirmed this.
“Azeez Fashola, aka Naira Marley, has been taken into custody for questioning and other investigation activities,” he said.Justice is necessary for Mohbad.
Earlier on Tuesday night, the head of Marlian Music revealed that he had left for Nigeria via his verified X Twitter.
“I’d like to report that I’ve just returned to Lagos, Nigeria,” he said, “to help the authorities with the continuing investigation. I should provide what I can to help Imole. I’ll be meeting with the police in the hopes that the truth will be out and justice will be done.
Despite their fallout in 2022, Naira Marley has refuted claims that he had anything to do with Mohbad’s death, emphasising that “no harm was wished on him.”
