According to Uko, the defendant broke into Sunday Bankole’s home with the intention of committing a crime.

According to him, the defendant took one 10-inch Sanyo television, which was worth N20,000.

He claimed that the offences violated Lagos State’s 2015 Criminal Laws, Sections 308 and 287.

The accused was granted bail in the amount of N50,000 with two sureties in an equivalent amount by Chief Magistrate Mr. T. A. Popoola.

Popoola deferred the matter to January 30th, for further consideration, ruling that the sureties must be law-abiding citizens of Lagos State who work gainfully for a respectable enterprise or government organisation.
