Portable, the well-known musician whose real name is Habeeb Okikiola, has been apprehended by the Lagos State Police Command.

The arrest took place on Tuesday as a result of his alleged failure to settle the debt he owed after purchasing a G-Wagon from a local car dealer.

It has been reported that Portable only paid N13 million out of the N27 million total cost of the vehicle, refusing to pay the remaining N14 million.

The car dealer, dissatisfied with this situation, reported the matter to the police, leading to the singer’s arrest. Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the arrest when contacted by OBASANJONEWS24, stating simply, “The report is true. He was arrested today.”
