Zamfara University: “Don’t let criminals set the rules for you,” Peter Obi tells Nigerians

Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s nominee for president, has responded to the kidnapping of some schoolgirls from the Federal University in Gusau.

Gunmen believed to be bandits kidnapped an undetermined number of Federal University of Gusau students in the early hours of Friday, according to OBASANJO NEWS24.

According to reports, the terrorists assaulted the Sabon-Gida hamlet in Zamfara State’s Bungudu Local Government Area, which was home to a large number of university students.

Obi urged Nigerians to refuse to let thieves and outlaws dictate the laws by which they must live.

“As a nation, we must oppose any attempt to give criminals the power to decide how we live as a community. Furthermore, we must prevent bandits and criminals from destroying our country.

He said on X, “I strongly think that a safe and secure Nigeria is certainly feasible. Combating insecurity is the focus in the New Nigeria of my dream.
