To prepare for his team’s match against Sao Tome and Principe in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualification round, Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro arrived in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, on Tuesday.
Peseiro travelled to Uyo with his assistants after signing a new contract just recently.
Upon arriving in the city, the 63-year-old checked out the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium’s pitch of play.
On Sunday, the True Patriots and Super Eagles will play a game at the ground.
On Wednesday, the Super Eagles’ training camp for the match will begin.
Training is scheduled to start on Wednesday for invited Super Eagles athletes, who will report to camp that day.
