On Thursday, during the ongoing Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Abuja, Samuel Nwanosike, the chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area in Rivers State, allegedly led a group of suspected thugs to the venue.
Nwanosike, known for his loyalty to the former Rivers State Governor and current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, reportedly attempted to forcefully enter the venue with the intention of causing chaos and potentially disrupting the NEC’s decision-making process.

According to Obasanjonews.com, one of the key issues being discussed at the NEC meeting is the possibility of imposing sanctions on Nyesom Wike due to allegations of engaging in anti-party activities.
This matter is expected to be a major topic of discussion during the meeting. Nwanosike’s actions, in attempting to gain unauthorized access to the venue, were seen as an attempt to interfere with the proceedings and potentially prevent the NEC from reaching a resolution on the matter.
