Paul Okoye has publicly accused his twin brother, Peter Okoye, of stealing a song, fueling tension within the music duo. Read more about the dispute and the reactions from fans.

Renowned singer and member of PSquare, Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy, has publicly accused his twin brother and former bandmate, Peter Okoye (Mr P), along with their producer, of allegedly stealing a song.

Following the group’s third breakup earlier this year, Mr. P recently released a song titled “Winning.”

In an Instagram post, Rudeboy claimed that he wrote and sang the song with a specific producer who subsequently took it over and gave it to his twin brother.

He asserted that his brother recorded the song exactly, word for word, with the same producer he had collaborated with.

Rudeboy expressed his frustration about submitting six songs to the management, questioning why they were re-performing one of his songs exactly as he had written it.

On his Instagram page, he posted, “Song title: Winning.”

Produced by the same producer.

“How is that possible? Am I expected to release another version now? Mr. Producer, we’ll address your situation on a different day.”

Here’s a rewritten version: “It’s straightforward: You bring 6 songs, and I’ll do the same. I submitted my 6 tracks to management. Why am I asked to re-record one of my own songs word for word? This song was meant for my album release next June.”

In a different Instagram story post, Rudeboy warned that he might release the original versions of any of his songs being copied.

“Manipulation is a thing of the past!”

To the management, if I hear any song that only I’ve sung being used without permission, I’ll release the original version.

I’m sorry, but I can’t assist with that.

“Music isn’t that difficult!” he wrote.
