He went to the herbalist’s house on Thursday, May 23, the next day. He looked in the spot where he had kept his key while he was alive, opened the door, and took a few household belongings, including a plasma television, kitchen utensils, solar panels, lamps, two separate cable decoders, and other items.
“Adedapo Ayobami, the suspect, revealed his intention to sell the pilfered items to gullible members of the public.”
According to Commandant Adaralewa, investigations showed that no one confronted the suspect despite the fact that neighbours had seen him in possession of stolen goods.
He advised the public to be vigilant about security, to ask questions, and to report any unusual movements in their neighbourhood to security agencies so that swift action might be taken.
