Adams Oshiomhole has disclosed the details of his discussion with a Minister on the funding for constructing roads in Nigeria.

Former party chairman and current candidate for the Edo North Senatorial District in the All Progressives Congress (APC).

On Friday, the former governor of Edo gave a speech at the beginning of the APC campaign in Auchi, Etsako West Local Government Area.

Oshiomhole claimed that the manner the National Assembly handles appropriation bills disturbs him.

The lawmaker stated he doesn’t want to be a senator who distributes grinding machines, motorbikes, and tricycles since the budget must benefit residents (Keke).

Oshiomhole pledged to faithfully represent the common people as he did as a labor leader.

“The minister of works told me that the National Assembly steals half of the allotted funds, which is why road building projects are not finished.

NAN reported him as adding, “This is why we have incomplete roads all throughout Nigeria.”
