The vetting committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has given the green light to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and 15 other governorship aspirants in Ondo State to proceed to the party’s screening committee for further evaluation.

These aspirants are scheduled to make their appearances before the screening committee within the next few days.

The committee’s findings revealed that Governor Aiyedatiwa did not engage in any form of forgery related to his WAEC certificate, countering the previous allegations made against him.

The report submitted by the committee’s chairman, Prof Abdulkarim Kana, emphasized that there was no substantial evidence to support the claims of certificate forgery against Aiyedatiwa.
