Wale Akinterinwa, an APC governorship aspirant in Ondo, has accused Governor Usman Ododo of Kogi State and Chairman of the party’s primary election committee of fabricating results, claiming that no primary election took place in any of the 203 Wards in the state.

Despite Ododo declaring Lucky Aiyedatiwa as the party’s governorship candidate due to receiving the highest votes, Akinterinwa criticized the entire process as a disgraceful display.

The aspirant’s dissatisfaction was expressed through a statement released by his campaign organization spokesperson, Mr. Segun Ajiboye, emphasizing that there was no legitimate election held in Ondo to select the APC candidate.

Akinterinwa’s team alleged that Governor Ododo arrived in the state on Saturday morning solely to manipulate and falsify election results, rather than overseeing a fair and transparent primary election.

The statement highlighted the missed opportunity for the party to gain the trust and support of the people by conducting a credible election that would have been praised by all, including the opposition.
