According to him, traders play a crucial role in the growth of the economy due to their business activities. Investing money in traders is always profitable and not wasted. As soon as he assumes office as governor, he intends to deliver on his commitment of providing interest-free loans without delay.

My objective is to serve the Edo people with integrity and diligence, ensuring transparent use of their resources. Voting for APC on September 21 will result in beneficial outcomes from our proposed plans for state residents.

Matthew Urhoghide, the Director General of the APC Campaign Council, informed the traders that he had brought Okpebholo to converse with them regarding his plans and consider their requests.

The president of the traders’ association, Nonso Ibeh, spoke to the campaign team and emphasized that Senator Urhoghide was a friend of their group. He mentioned that during his election campaigns, he visited them twice and won with their support. Henceforth, he assured everyone present at Thursday’s meeting that they could expect similar results from this visit as well.

“We hope that upon your election, you will assist us in constructing our headquarters. A piece of land was granted to us by the late Oba Erediauwa II of Benin.” Nonso stated.

Okpebholo also addressed the inhabitants of Idumu Ewase Community situated on Isihuhe Street, off Mission Road in Benin. He advised them against voting for the ruling Peoples Democratic Party and cautioned that their candidate, Asue Ighodalo, would emulate his political mentor Governor Godwin Obaseki’s behavior if elected.
