Oba Adedapo’s passing is a source of great pain and sadness- Adeleke
Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State expressed his deep sorrow and sympathy upon hearing the news of the passing of Oba Aderemi Adedapo, the Alayemore of Ido-Osun.
In a statement released by his spokesperson, Adeleke extended his condolences to the traditional council, the people of Ido-Osun, and the immediate family of Oba Adedapo.
He emphasized that the late monarch was a strong advocate for peace and progress within his domain, and his loss is deeply felt by all.
Adeleke further highlighted Oba Adedapo’s unwavering dedication to the welfare and development of his subjects and the Ido-Osun community.

He acknowledged the late monarch’s remarkable professional background in the legal and architectural fields, which he utilized to advance the interests of his people during his lifetime.

While mourning the demise of Oba Adedapo, Adeleke urged everyone to remember and uphold the late monarch’s legacy of good deeds and genuine commitment to the betterment of society.
He prayed for God’s mercy and eternal rest for Oba Adedapo’s soul, and expressed his hope that all those affected by his passing would find solace in the knowledge of the profound impact he made throughout his life.
It was revealed that Oba Adedapo fell ill early last week and eventually passed away at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex in Ile-Ife on Friday.
